In early 2025, I had the opportunity to take part in the Digital Skills for Women Creatives in Malawi workshops, organized with the Malawi Government’s Department of Arts and funded by UNESCO.

I was tasked with delivering a presentation on digital marketing, covering strategies, online portfolios, and practical tips for leveraging digital tools. Standing in front of these talented women and sharing knowledge was both exciting and meaningful.

This experience meant a lot to me — not only did I contribute to empowering women in Malawi’s creative sector, but I also gained personal growth in presentation skills and confidence. Seeing participants engage with the content and envisioning how it could transform their businesses reminded me of the real impact digital skills can have on livelihoods and creativity.
