KUHES Class of 2025 Finale Dinner | Events

I had the privilege of attending the KUHES Class of 2025 Finale Dinner, an evening that was both celebratory and deeply reflective. I accompanied our CTO, Nohaata Seven together with Senior Engineer, Earnest Sebastian, as the CTO had been invited to deliver a speech to the graduating students.

Although I attended as a guest, the event took me back to my own finale dinner in 2023. Moments like these remind you how important it is to appreciate life’s small milestones—they come quickly and pass even faster.

The evening was filled with powerful messages from esteemed guests. The Guest of Honour, Dr. Dan Namarika, Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Health, shared an inspiring personal journey. He spoke openly about failing at university at one point, facing major setbacks—including a defining encounter during the late President Bingu wa Mutharika’s time —and how close he came to giving up. Yet, he persevered. Today, he stands recognized as one of the country’s most respected health professionals. His story was a strong reminder that failure is not the end, but often the beginning of growth.

Other speakers, including our CTO, Nohaata Seven, and Pemphero Mphande, echoed similar lessons. They encouraged graduates to embrace failure as a learning process, to remain confident, and to never shy away from standing out. One message stood out clearly: the more you allow yourself to be seen, the more opportunities find you.

The KUHES Finale Dinner was more than a celebration – it was a moment of reflection, motivation, and preparation for the real world ahead. To the Class of 2025, congratulations and all the best as you take your next steps forward.
