I was thrilled to be part of the high-level ICT Expo and Gala, a strictly-by-invitation event hosted by the ICT Association of Malawi (ICTAM) at the Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe.
The two-day experience ran from June 5 to 6, 2025. Day one was the expo, where I attended to support our CTO, who was invited as a panelist on the main stage. It was inspiring to hear thought-provoking discussions on Malawi’s growing tech landscape and to network with so many passionate innovators.
The second day wrapped up with the Awards Gala, a celebration of the country’s most promising tech players. I was especially proud of the PayChangu team, who earned multiple nominations despite the company’s young age—a testament to their hard work and innovation.
It was an honor to witness the recognition of such talent and to stand alongside colleagues and peers driving digital transformation in Malawi. Congratulations to everyone nominated and to all the winners.
